Radiatori pasta with bacon, apples and walnuts

Wash the apple thoroughly, remove the core and cut it into small pieces. In a frying pan, brown the apple pieces in a knob of butter for a few minutes. Add the bacon strips to the pan with the apple, season with a little salt and cook for a couple of minutes. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water, drain one minute before the cooking time indicated on the pack and keep aside a ladle of pasta cooking water. Pour the pasta into the pan with the apple sauce, adding the cooking water and stir for a minute. Sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese and serve.
